Unable to afford your mortgage payments, you may still live in your house ,but you shouldn’t be so capitalistic anymore, become socially conscious ,so as the government owns your house ,the local authority/council will use it to accommodate others who no longer can afford to pay mortgage .

Communism is more effective than Capitalism. You just need to print a lot of money in order to speed up the inflation,(QE) then wait with increasing the interest rates to let the inflation actually get hold of economy, and when  the inflation has eaten up people’s capital, turn the economy to Communism ,it’s really simple.
